Dear Members,

As the 2022/23 fiscal year is coming to an end, we want to remind you that your current membership will expire on March 31st, 2023. While the NWTT board had waived membership fees for the past three years, the board has voted to reinstate membership fees for 2023/24.

In the upcoming weeks, you will receive information regarding your membership renewal and how to easily access the renewal link.

As stated in your membership renewal letters, which will be sent out shortly, members who paid for membership in 2020 will not be charged for their 2023/24 membership.

As a reminder, here are just a few highlights of the benefits of being a member with NWT Tourism.

  • Major savings on advertising, free package listings, discounts on design and web services, free access to sales leads, and preferred avenues in other marketing areas.
  • Reduced cost opportunities to participate in tourism trade shows, opportunities to participate in trade missions and familiarization tours that may arise.
  • Members show up at the top of all lists on the spectacularnwt.com website, where their listings have higher prominence.
  • Members have priority over non-members on all co-op advertising opportunities.
  • Provided you are deemed an eligible voting member in good standing by no later than July 31, 2023, you will be allowed to vote in the online election for the Board of Directors in the fall, and on pivotal issues at the NWTT Annual General Meeting (AGM).
  • Advocacy support for common issues of the industry and/or your sector.
  • As a member of NWT Tourism, you will receive e-blasts with valuable information and updates that are helpful to your business and our industry.

If you have any questions regarding membership, please contact our Member Services & Consumer Markets Coordinator Breanna Dennison by email at breanna@spectacularnwt.com or by phone 867-873-5007 ex. 1002.

We want to thank you all for being valued members of NWT Tourism. We look forward to working with you and on your behalf again in the year ahead.

All the best,

Donna Lee Demarcke
