If you wish to have a say on managing the environment for the future, you can complete a survey on the regulatory systems and environmental protection measures in the NWT. The NWT Environmental Audit is an independent review of the territory’s environmental regulatory system in the Mackenzie Valley and the quality of environmental data available to make resource management decisions in the NWT.
The survey is open until March 31, 2024 and can be accessed here.

The audit report and recommendations will be released to the public mid-2025.
