Hello Members,
I am happy to share with you that casting is now open for a new series where Bryan Baeumler travels off-the-beaten-path to help people who have left their old lives behind to start a unique business in a rural or remote location.
Casting directors are seeking outgoing, energetic business owners to share their stories and renovations on-camera.
Listed below are the qualifications required to join the cast of the new HGTV Canada series:
1. Type of Project: Your project might be tourist-related, (small hotel, eco-lodge,“glamp” site, winery, organic farm, brewpub, B&B, etc.), or something completely new. It must contain elements of a residential space (ie. a communal lounge, bedroom, Property Manager’s suite, etc.) and areas relating to your new business (commercial kitchen, reception area, meeting rooms, etc.).
2. Story: You need Bryan’s help! You have hit a significant roadblock in the construction process: money issues, family issues, logistical problems, or all of the above. These problems should be serious enough to threaten the project but not insurmountable. You must work with our team on a compressed timeline to create a big burst of activity while Bryan and the crew are on-site. The plan is to get your project back on track so that you can continue once we leave. We will return at the end to see the final results of your hard work.
3. Location: Business must be off-the-beaten path, in a rural/remote area, or small town.
4. Timing: Episodes will film throughout Spring to late Fall 2023. Your financing and project/design plans must be complete, and construction must be mid-way before we arrive. We will require some flexibility on timing and your availability.
The show has expertise in design and construction, with some financial resources for your episode. Also, your future business will be seen on HGTV Canada.
