Dear Members,

The GNWT will be hosting the first open house today Monday September 25th from 3-7pm. Business Development Officers (BDO) will be on site to help business owners apply for the Emergency Relief Funding. To apply, business owners should bring the following:

1. Photocopy of their business license

2. Copies of bills for the following fixed expenses:

  • Rent (lease agreement or receipt)
  • Mortgages and interest payments on mortgages (related to business)
  • Interest and principal payments on business loans
  • Utilities
  • Phone/internet
  • Monthly software subscription
  • Insurance
  • Property tax (if property is owned)
  • Fixed monthly bank fees
  • Insurance Deductibles
  • Spoilage (must be accompanied with letter from insurance stating they are not covered under policy. Spoilage is not pro-rated to 21 days and is covered at 100%, up to the program maximum of $5,000.)
