Dear members,
I would like to invite you to join the upcoming Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) Town Hall, scheduled to take place on April 4th, 2023 at the Explorer Hotel in Yellowknife. The Town Hall will run from 9 am to 5 pm and will be followed by a reception from 5 to 6 pm. The event is free to attend and pre-registration is required.
The Town Hall will include discussions on best practice related to innovation and sustainability, and will also provide a forum for open dialogue and constructive debate and a platform to highlight and discuss regional tourism challenges.
TIAC will host presentations on digitalization, market readiness programs, and training. After a complimentary lunch, further discussions will explore the plans to reposition and grow Canada's Visitor Economy, including from leisure/business travel, travel trade, meetings and conventions, and sports tourism.
The event will end with a Q&A session that will allow tourism stakeholders to provide input and receive feedback.
