We are excited to share some updates about our 2025 NWT Tourism AGM and Conference scheduled for November 4-6 in Inuvik!
New Community Experience
NWTT is excited to provide delegates with the opportunity to participate in community experiences from 2:30-4:30 pm on Thursday, November 6. There is no cost to participants; this is an opportunity for conference delegates to enjoy the host community and network with local operators and businesses. Experiences will include:
- A workshop with Bambi Amos to make a seal skin Ookpik
- A workshop with Brian Rogers to create a traditional Yo-Yo
- A tour of the Western Arctic Research Centre
- A tour of the Our Lady of Victory Church
TIAC's Northern Regional Roundtable
On November 7th from 8:30 am to 12 pm (before the Canadian North flight departs), the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) will be hosting a Regional Roundtable – an opportunity for deeper engagement and regional collaboration. The session is free of charge for NWTT AGM & Conference delegates and will take place in the Midnight Sun Complex (95 Gwich'in Road). Dinner and Celebration Event
The Dinner and Celebration event, taking place on November 6, will include an arts market and cocktail hour from 5:30-7, exciting prizes from our partners, and live entertainment by local musicians Mark Stevens, Eric Blake, Howie McLeod and Dennis Allen. The MC for the evening will be Barry Greenland.
