The GNWT is seeking input on two post-secondary education institution applications; both applications are seeking to deliver diploma-granting programs in the territory. College of Northern Canada is applying to provide a Global Tourism Management diploma program and a Global Logistics diploma program within the Northwest Territories beginning in January 2024.
The Global Tourism Management program is intended to provide students with a broad-based, academically rigorous study of management concepts, theories, and techniques as they apply to the international tourism and travel industry. The Diploma in Global Logistics is intended to equip students with advanced skills and insights for navigating today's complex international logistics environment, uniquely tailored to meet the needs of Northern Canada. To have your say on the proposed Global Logistics diploma program click here.
When an institution wishes to provide a post-secondary education program in the NWT, they submit an application which is posted for 15 business days for public and existing NWT post-secondary institution review.
Feedback will be collected until October 23, 2023.
