With unprecedented challenges facing NWT residents and the tourism industry, NWT Tourism has commenced important research that will inform destination marketing plans and help to optimize activities, timing and messaging that will support the rebuild and recovery of the NWT’s tourism industry, when the time is right.
The research is being undertaken by Leger, a leading Canadian research and analytics firm, who will be gathering feedback from residents about tourism through telephone interviews and an online survey. The research will consist of three waves of outreach to residents. We are excited to launch the first wave which will take place for several weeks beginning October 1st.
